Commissions are a favourite part of what I do – it is such a privilege to be invited inside someone’s life to capture the spirit of a particular moment. If you are interested in a commission, please let me know via my Contact page.

I paint in gouache on 300 gsm watercolour paper. Paintings vary in size, depending on composition, but they are around 8 - 11 inches. I ask £400 for standard commissions (half paid just before I start, half after I have sent you a scan of the finished painting). I am very happy to discuss painting bigger and painting series – I adjust the price a little to take into account the extra work. 

My commissions are nearly always a combination of reference photos, client wishes and my own imagination – the exact mix is different with each one. So once we have talked about your ideas for the painting, and you have booked a time slot, I will ask you to send me reference photos. Then I will do some compositional sketches and get to work with paint.
